More than 600 people participated in the training and cultural program organized by the XXXII edition of the Maspalomas Summer University, which offered 24 courses and workshops, held from June 26 to July 12, in addition to the X International Rotary Maspalomas CAMP.
The training program closed with the Closing Concert, given by the students, professionals and amateurs, who participated in the course 'Singing with breath, diaphragm and voice', taught by soprano Judith Pezoa, a resident of the municipality. The lyrical gala included the participation of Judith Pezoa, Pier Angelo Pelucchi and Elías Romero.
The cultural program of the Summer University will also host the concerts of the Canarias Jazz & Más International Festival and the XVII Maspalomas International Trumpet Festival, one of the most important in Europe, which will be held until July 20, and the Maspalomas Festival Costa Canaria Soul Festival, which will take place from July 19 to 21, on San Agustín beach.
The 32nd edition of the Maspalomas Summer University is organized by the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, and has the collaboration of the Government of the Canary Islands and the Gloria Palace hotel San Agustin.
