Temperatures will be on the rise, with a moderate increase in the summits and midlands of the south, west and east, where they will reach between 37 and 38 ºC. The minimums will also be notably high. In the northern midlands, temperatures could locally reach 32-34 ºC. There will be a moderate trade wind, with strong intervals in low areas of the southeast and northwest, especially starting in the afternoon, and a predominance of breezes on the southwest coasts. On the summits, the wind will be weak and variable in direction.

Tomorrow, Saturday, July 20, the skies will remain clear, with intervals of medium and high clouds during the first half of the day, and low clouds on the northern coasts in the late hours. A slight haze will persist in high areas in the south and east, which will subside. Minimum temperatures will not change much in the north, but will rise slightly to moderately in the south, reaching between 24 and 26 ºC, and may locally reach 28-30 ºC in the interior. The maximum temperatures will barely vary in the south, where they can reach up to 36 ºC in the interior, even 37-38 ºC locally. In the rest of the region, temperatures will drop slightly. The trade wind will be moderate with strong intervals and possible very strong gusts in the southeast and northwest, with breezes predominating on the southwest coasts.
For Sunday, July 21, in the low areas of the north of the mountainous islands, cloudiness will be significant during the morning, tending to cloudy intervals. In the rest of the areas, a slightly cloudy or clear day is expected. Temperatures will drop moderately in general, especially in the interior areas of the islands. It is likely that 32-34 ºC will be reached in the midlands and peaks of the south of Gran Canaria. The trade wind will blow at strong intervals on the southeast and northwest slopes, with breezes predominating on the southwest coasts of the mountainous islands.
