The temporary interruption of supply, which will occur between 08:00 and 16:00, is motivated by the work to create new connections in the general supply network.
The drinking water supply service in La Goleta and in the P2 residential area of Cruce de Arinaga will be temporarily interrupted on the morning of next Wednesday, July 24, due to the work of making new connections in the general network. The outage is scheduled for 08:00 in the morning and is expected to last a maximum of 8 hours.
This temporary interruption of service will affect the Goleta neighborhood, the P2 residential area of Cruce de Arinaga, between Tacande and Arroró streets, and some blocks located on Ansite Avenue, between the Correos roundabout and Tamara street. Once the work is completed, the replacement of the supply will be carried out in a gradual and controlled manner, in order to avoid damage to the pipes, which will force a progressive recovery of the flow. If no complications arise, it is expected that the supply will be operating normally on Wednesday at 16:00 p.m.
As a preventive measure, the City Council recommends checking and filling the drums, cisterns or other reserve tanks, which are mandatory in all homes in accordance with the ordinance regulating the municipal drinking water supply service. If you do not have them, it will be necessary to provide sufficient containers to face the temporary interruption of service.
