The elite sports of Gran Canaria choose San Roque University Hospitals to take care of their health

 

Both leading entities in their sector have formalized during the morning of today, Thursday, July 25, an agreement by which the health group will ensure the health of elite athletes.

 

The nine teams that make up the Elite Club (Club Deportivo Balonmano Remudas Isla de Gran Canaria -Rocasa, the Jav Olympic Volleyball Club -Hidramar, the Club Hockey Molina Sport, the ADM Econy, the Unión Deportiva Taburiente, the Club Voleibol Guaguas, Club Volleyball Sayre Mayser, Club Deportivo Voleibol San Roque, Club Deportivo Teldeportivo) will undergo their pre-season sports check-ups at HUSR and will be treated for possible injuries and other medical services that they may require. 

 

 

The vice president of San Roque University Hospitals, Herminia Rodríguez Rosas, indicates that “it is a privilege to be able to be next to the elite sports of our island, and that our medical teams, technology and experience provide a plus to these athletes.” 

 

For his part, Antonio Moreno González, President of the Association of Elite Clubs, points out that "we have a very promising future, with a health service that is a national benchmark and that will live up to what athletes need."
