Program Activities

 

 

The town of Taidía, nestled between the majestic mountains of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, is preparing to celebrate its traditional festivals in honor of the Virgen del Carmen. This event, which takes place from July 29 to August 4, promises to be a week full of cultural, religious and entertainment activities for all attendees.

 

The Taidía festivities are one of the most anticipated celebrations of the year, not only by the town's inhabitants, but also by families and visitors to the island who come to enjoy the hospitality and festive atmosphere that characterizes this town. For seven days, the streets of Taidía will be filled with color and joy, offering a wide range of activities that reflect its rich cultural tradition.

 

Program of Events

 

Monday, July 29

- Decoration and lighting of the streets and the neighborhood square.

 

From July 29 to August 1 at 18:30 p.m.*

- Entertainment with music and games.

 

Friday, August 2

- 19:00 p.m.: Holy Mass for the dead of the neighborhood.

- 20:00 p.m.: Performance by the clown Zapitto with distribution of popcorn.

- 21:30 p.m.: Performance by the group La Nueva Cantera, with the participation of the Nahia Dance Dance Academy.

- 23:00 p.m.: Verbena with "Los Brillantes".

 

Saturday, August 3

- 19:00 p.m.: Offering Pilgrimage through the streets of the town.

- 22:00 p.m.: Verbena with the groups "D' MUSIC" and "LEYENDA JOVEN".

 

Sunday, August 4

- 11:00 a.m.: Entertainment.

- 19:00 p.m.: Mass and procession through the streets of the town.

- 20:00 p.m.: Tasting of a paella donated by Burro Safari.

- 21:30 p.m.: Verbena with "NEW IMPRESSION".
