The conversation also spoke about the progress and sports planning of the club, which in the new season will have representative teams in the Alevín, Benjamín, Infant, Cadet, Youth, Women's and Third Division leagues, and about the specific sporting adventure that it will have. The youth team has to face throughout the Archipelago to compete in the Division of Honor league.

 

In this regard, the team has already agreed and closed the start of the preseason next Monday, August 5, with the expectation of having to reinforce itself with new athletes given that some of the current members will leave the Island to undertake their university studies on the Peninsula. . With this objective, the Club has already launched a campaign to recruit players from the municipality born between 2006 and 2008.

 

A family club

 

The Maspasala Sol Club of Europe emerged in November 2016 with the aim of ensuring that the federated practice of indoor football did not disappear in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, since the team that existed then, Fataga, which had been assumed as sports section by the SBT, did not guarantee its continuity. They were former players of the historic Maspalomas Sol de Europa, with active children, who decided to revive it and call it Maspasala in memory and remembrance of that team that was proclaimed champion of Spain in the 1993-94 season.

 

Since its inception it has proclaimed and acted as a social and integrative sports institution of a family and municipal nature, which defends the slogan 'More than a club, a family'. The City Council's shield and the promotional anagram of Maspalomas Costa Canaria are displayed on the players' shirts, and to complete the aid it receives from the City Council and the Cabildo, it has the unconditional support of fifteen small and medium-sized businesses in the municipality that value and They applaud his civic-sports work.
