Video recorded and uploaded to You Tube by a German citizen, on November 24, 2021, in the ravine and Necropolis of Arteara, where there are more than 700 Guanche tombs.
The Fataga and Arteara ravine, archaeological heritage, is one of the first Guanche settlements in Gran Canaria, but it is also one of the most abandoned neighborhoods in San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
The garbage at the entrance to the town, abandoned cars and the dry leaves of the palm grove, create great discomfort and fear among the neighbors, due to possible fires, with the high summer temperatures.
The 70 residents of Arteara, although they are twelve kilometers from one of the most important tourist areas in Spain, still lack the supply of drinking water in their homes and little or almost no mobile phone and internet coverage.
