Maestros Neller, Bashmet, Rogovoy, Pisarenko and Hajiyeva will star this fall at the 'Finca Festival Frantz & Friends 2024', from September 27 to October 6
The timeless compositions of the great geniuses of classical music and the creativity and interpretative originality offered by the piano will once again star in the sound content of the Finca Festival Frantz & Friends, which in this 2024 edition will be celebrated with nine master sessions on 27 September to October 6.
The program of this event marked on the international calendar by the virtuosity of its performers and the benefits of the idyllic setting in which it is celebrated, La Casa de Los Músicos, in Monteleón, was presented this Friday in Maspalomas by its promoter and main supporter, the German pianist and orchestral conductor Justus Frantz. He was accompanied in this performance by the Councilor for Education and Culture, Elena Álamo Vega, testifying to the support and collaboration that the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council provides to this “important initiative that enriches and expands the cultural proposal of the municipality to residents and visitors.” .
The Finca Festival Frantz & Friends 2024 promises to become a new milestone in the long and dense history of La Casa de Los Músicos, founded on the experience of almost 30 years of unforgettable concerts held outdoors, in the middle of nature, in the light of the candles, the moon and the stars. The cast of great masters participating in this edition includes the talented German pianist, composer and orchestral director of Russian origin Sergey Neller; the multi-award-winning world concert pianist, also an orchestral conductor, Russian classical violinist and violist Yuri Abramovich Bashmet, Grammy Award winner in 2000 and decorated in 2003 with the French Legion of Honor; the virtuoso and gifted 17-year-old Ukrainian pianist Kirill Rogovoy (Ilovaisk, 2007), winner in 2024 of the VI Competition of Young Musicians of Russia and the Moscow International Competition of Young Pianists, among other international awards, and the critically acclaimed and award-winning Ukrainian pianist living in London Vitaly Pisarenko (kyiv, 1987), First Prize in the 8th Franz Liszt International Piano Competition (Utrecht, 2008) and 2018 Revelation Prize by the Association of Music Critics of Argentina. Since September 2021 he has been a professor at the Royal College of Music in London. His extensive career as a concert performer is recognized in Beijing, Moscow, Shanghai, Salzburg, Antwerp, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Paris and Budapest. He has played with the Philharmonics of Moscow, Johannesburg, Warsaw, the Czech Brno, the Korean KBS and also the Netherlands National Radio among numerous other orchestras.
Furthermore, this year's brilliant general score of the Festival also includes the captivating voice of the Azerbaijani mezzo-soprano proclaimed 'Honored Artist of the Republic' Fidan Hajiyeva (Baku, 1976), named 'Ambassador of Peace' in the service of promoting Italian classical musician and founder in 2016 of the musical and singing training center that bears her name, as well as a professor of mathematics and economics at the University of Alicante; the talented and charismatic violinist with impeccable technique Ksenia Dubrovskaya (Kolomna, Moscow, 1979), who acts alongside Frantz as artistic director of the event, and also their son, Konstantin Frantz, also a pianist in continuous expansion since he was 4 years old, with great prestige in Germany and the United Kingdom, where he has received a good part of his training. He has already participated in previous sessions at La Casa de Los Músicos playing four hands with his father. This year he assumes the responsibility of offering the Festival's opening concert alone, and also of closing it at the gala in which he will star alongside his mentor.
