Swedish executive Leif Danielson has been selected by a subsidiary of Swedish company Dcap I Sverige AB to lead real estate investment operations in the south of Gran Canaria, according to business sources familiar with the Swedish holding company's business plans confirmed to Maspalomas24H on Thursday. One of the operations may involve a famous restaurant in Tauro that was due to close in 2023. Dcap I Sverige AB owns part of Hybricon, the Nordic electric bus manufacturer.

Hybricon is owned by Joakim Larsson, brother of the late best-selling author Stieg Larsson and his heir along with his father. Leif Danielsson is behind the other company that increased its stake in the bus manufacturer, Dcap I Sweden, which is the one that has started operating in the south of Gran Canaria through another subsidiary.

Leif Danielsson was appointed Managing Director of Nordr Sweden for one year in 2021. He was previously Business Unit Director of the Riks 1 department in December 2019 and responsible for the Greater Stockholm, South and West regions of Nordr Sweden and the Flex townhouse concept within Nordr. Nordr was formed when a consortium consisting of Fredensborg (today partners of Servatur), Norwegian Property and Union Real Estate acquired all the shares of Veidekke Eiendom in Sweden and Norway. The formed group has 18.000 building rights in growing cities in the two countries.
