A 34-year-old man was seriously injured after suffering a fall while riding his motorcycle on Mar Mediterráneo Street, in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Gran Canaria, on August 31 at 21:13 p.m.
The Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 112 received the alert about the accident, immediately activating the emergency services. A medicalised ambulance and another basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) were sent to the scene.
The medical team treated the injured man, who had a serious injury to one of his legs. After being stabilised and immobilised, he was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
The San Bartolomé de Tirajana Local Police were also present to regulate traffic in the area and to instruct the corresponding proceedings.
