The property, which has significant structural deficiencies, is subject to a subsidiary demolition execution procedure
The Local Police of Ingenio carried out the closure of an occupied house in Carrizal, a property that presents serious structural deterioration, which implies a high risk of collapse and possible damage both for its occupant and for the neighbours in the area. The intervention was the result of a long and exhaustive process of investigation and negotiation by local agents with the person who inhabited the space, in an effort to resolve the situation in a peaceful and orderly manner.
The building, which has significant structural deficiencies, is subject to a subsidiary demolition procedure, given that its current state poses a danger to the safety of the community. In addition to the risk of collapse, the activity in the house had generated concern among the residents due to the perceived insecurity in the area, which made it necessary to act rigorously to guarantee both physical safety and coexistence.
The Local Police of Ingenio spent several weeks investigating this case, with negotiations with the occupant being key to avoiding any kind of confrontation and reaching a consensual solution, prioritizing dialogue and cooperation. Thanks to this effort, the closure of the occupied house was carried out without major incidents.
The next step will be to move forward with the subsidiary demolition process, following all legal and technical protocols so that the demolition is carried out safely and in a manner that respects the environment.
