Canary Coalition has closed the agreement with Onalia Bueno to be a candidate for the Parliament of the Canary Islands for Gran Canaria, first place, removing Pablo Rodríguez from the middle, as Espiral21 announced this Thursday. PNC sources consulted by Maspalomas24H indicated that this agreement does not have the support of the CC management and that perhaps by then the formation led by Fernando Clavijo may exist but with another name due to the 2021 refoundation agreements
CC, therefore, is divided. It loses a partner like CiuCa and Unidos por Gran Canaria, where the two CC councilors who were in the 2019 elections would be integrated under the umbrella of the already regionalist party. CC wants Onalia Bueno to qualify for the vote pool that exists as a result of the crisis and mixing tourism with illegal immigration.
María Fernández, who would abandon her career with NC to be a deputy in 2022, Alejandro Marichal, Pablo Rodríguez or Héctor Suárez would go to the lists of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and their respective municipalities. "The foreseeable appointment of Onalia Bueno ends expectations to unify CC with NC in the 2023 elections, according to spokespersons for both parties," says Espiral21.
