The agenda of the Official School of Languages of Maspalomas begins

Gara Hernandez Tuesday, September 10, 2024

The Official Language School of Maspalomas begins its agenda this Tuesday with the first qualification test. This exercise allows students to begin studying a language at a level other than the first level (A2.1). The Official Language School (EOI) of Maspalomas is a public centre dedicated exclusively to teaching languages for the educational administration of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands.

The Official Language Schools (EOI) are a network of official non-university centres dedicated to the specialised teaching of modern languages. The EOI Maspalomas, together with the associated classroom AEOI Mogán, is one of the 23 official language schools in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, and teaches four languages: German, Spanish for foreigners, French and English.

Those interested must pay the 18,80 euro fee for the test using Form 700, selecting “EOI Classification Test” and filling in the requested information. Once you have taken the test, which consists of a written part and an interview with a teacher of the language you wish to study, you will be assigned a level. If there are places available in a course at that level, you will be able to enrol without any problems. If there are no places available, we will suggest the previous level in which there are places available. Please note that, during the first month of classes, the teacher may assign the user to another level.
