The British tour operator Jet2 has awarded two hotels in the south of Gran Canaria this summer: Bull Escorial & Spa, located in Playa del Inglés, has been awarded the Quality Award 2023 of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays for outstanding performance according to the clients of the travel agency. The same distinction was obtained by Gloria Palace in San Agustín.
The tour operator told Maspalomas24H on Monday that "this award is a testament to our continued dedication to providing unforgettable experiences and exceptional service to our customers, consolidating our position as the most distinguished hotel within the prestigious Jet2holidays programme."
On the other hand, Joanna Hemingway, Data Visualization Manager, and Jenny Henderson-Ross, IT Project Manager at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, have been shortlisted for the Women in Tech Excellence Awards 2024. After being nominated by her peers as part of the Jet2 Women in Tech initiative, Jenny Henderson has been shortlisted as a finalist for both Rising Star of the Year and Transformation Leader of the Year, with Joanna Hemingway reaching the final for the Outstanding Returner award.
The Women in Tech Excellence Awards recognise pioneering women in technology and provide inspiration for younger women interested in pursuing a career in the industry. These awards aim to create more female leaders to showcase the endless possibilities the sector offers as it continues to grow.
