Kassel Airport published its winter flight schedule on Monday. Starting on 2 February 2025, Smartwings will fly from Kassel to Gran Canaria every Sunday. A Boeing 737-800 will be used. An interesting fact: Lufthansa will operate 18 weekly flights to Cape Verde, with connections from the airports of Düsseldorf, Hannover, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Munich.
Condor has also added three more destinations to its winter 2024/2025 flight schedule for Berlin. From the capital, there will be two flights to Gran Canaria twice a week and to Agadir every Tuesday. In fact, the holiday airline wanted to fly to Hurghada and Agadir from Berlin Airport last winter.
Tuifly has launched its winter flight schedule for 2024/25 with around 1,3 million seats. About half of these are to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Lanzarote. The airline will again be offering Dakar in Senegal from Düsseldorf next winter. With 44 weekly flight connections, Egypt is also a popular tourist destination with destinations to Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Luxor. According to Tuifly, the connection between Düsseldorf and Luxor is particularly popular.
Condor's sister company Marabu Airlines will expand its presence at several airports and thus reduce its offering at the existing bases in Hamburg and Munich. In the winter flight schedule, Marabu flies from Hamburg, Cologne/Bonn, Nuremberg and Stuttgart to Gran Canaria and Hurghada. Condor's sister company will abandon its current bases in Hamburg and Munich. In the future, both airports will once again be served exclusively by Condor and its partner airlines.
