The Agüimes Fairground will host a new edition of the Km.0 Gran Canaria Fair. The enormous dimensions of this space allow the fair to become the largest of all those held to date, reaching a total of 60 producers.
In addition to producers from the Southeast (Agüimes, Ingenio, Santa Lucía), the 24th Km.O Gran Canaria Fair will feature a large representation of artisan producers from other municipalities.
The southeast is known for the production of salt, oil and olives, cheeses (some of which have won awards), cochineal, wines and bread. In addition, the Fair will be enriched with numerous stalls selling fruit and vegetables, pastries, craft beer, milk, coffee, free-range eggs, chorizo, liqueurs, juices, sauces, etc.
The Km.0 Gran Canaria Fair aims to boost the local economy, promote and raise awareness of local products, encourage sustainable habits and support those who help preserve the landscape.
For this occasion, the organization of the Km.0 Gran Canaria Fair will once again deploy a festive atmosphere, which will create a close environment between visitors and producers.
COINCIDENCE WITH THE SUN FAIR
This edition of the Km.0 Gran Canaria Fair is being held in conjunction with the Feria del Sol, with which the Mancomunidad del Sureste de Gran Canaria aims to raise awareness of the need to develop sustainable behaviour among the inhabitants of the three municipalities, as well as among the rest of the island's inhabitants.
The Sun Fair will be held outside the Agüimes Fairgrounds.
The coincidence of both Fairs will make the Southeast become the CAPITAL OF SUSTAINABILITY in Gran Canaria for a few days.
