The contracting committee of San Bartolomé de Tirajana has awarded this Thursday to Option Productions of Las Palmas against Interdance Production, by Conchy Rodríguez, located in the Eurocenter Shopping Center. Option Productions (which does not have a website as required by the LCAP) has Media Diez Producciones as its sole partner and was dedicated to the operation of hairdressing, beauty and makeup salons. It so happens that Media Diez Producciones no longer exists. When this was being awarded, it arose, according to the company The Councillor for Finance, Alexis Moreno, said there was a "possible conflict of interest" because the person appointed to the work team for artistic direction in Interdance, in its technical proposal project for the Tourism Festival offered, which will form part of the provision of the service that is the object of the contract, also holds a position of trust in this Corporation."
The winning administrators, Option Productions, are Josué Quevedo Reyes and Sergio Déniz Santana. Option Productions offered a design and image that used the Maspalomas Lighthouse "and the inclusion of a daisy (literally)", "which often symbolises peace", according to the document signed by Councillor Moreno. In short: "from the beginning to the final execution, they take care of every aspect of the event to guarantee an unforgettable experience", Moreno signs.
The Las Palmas entrepreneurs formed by the administrators Quevedo Reyes and Déniz Santana have won 19 contracts for a total of 1,15 million euros in recent years. 10.328,6 euros in 2019, 35.168,8 euros in 2021, 458.395,8 euros in 2022, 153.770 euros in 2023 and 497.320,7 in 2024. 63% of the contracts are related to culture and sports products. Its services include the production of the Las Palmas stand at the Gran Canaria Me Gusta fair, held at Infecar from April 19 to 21, 2024, for 13.250 euros, a morning and afternoon fashion show service, with the exhibitors' products, backstage, equipment, models for the catwalk for 8.510 euros or in March 2024 the direction, production, coordination and execution of the events of the Maspalomas International Carnival for 318.695,67 euros. However, it does not have a website.
