Moderate winds and light rain this weekend in the south of Gran Canaria

According to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), this weekend, from 12 to 13 October 2024, the Canary Islands will experience a significant change in weather conditions. Scattered rain is expected on several islands, with a slight drop in temperatures, especially in the highest and northern areas.

In the south, partly cloudy skies and warmer temperatures will prevail, around 25°C. Winds will be moderate, with strong gusts in coastal areas.

According to AEMET Canarias, trade winds will remain moderate over the weekend in the southeast of Gran Canaria, with greater intensity in coastal areas. Waves on the southeast and south coasts of the island will range between 1,5 and 2 meters, so caution is recommended for maritime activities.
