The CEIP Las Dunas project, entitled “ICT as an element of sociocultural integration of the families of the center”, has managed to position itself as a finalist in the IV TECNOEDU 2024 Awards
The TECNOEDU Awards, which are celebrating their fourth edition, have brought together 43 candidates in various categories this year, open to both educational centres and teachers and university students from the Canary Islands. These awards seek to promote projects that encourage the use of advanced technologies to improve the teaching and learning process.
CEIP Las Dunas, with its project based on the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) as a key tool to integrate families into the educational environment, has captured the attention of the jury. The project proposes using ICT not only as an educational resource, but also as a means to strengthen sociocultural ties between families and the center, creating an inclusive and collaborative space.
The educational community of CEIP Las Dunas enthusiastically celebrates this recognition, as it is the first time they have participated in these awards and have managed to be among the finalists. This result reflects the commitment of the teachers, the effort of the students and the active support of the families. The project not only seeks to enhance learning, but also to promote the participation of families in school life through technological tools.
The awards ceremony will take place next Thursday, October 24th at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Education of the University of La Laguna at 18:00 p.m.The event, organized by the Fundación MAPFRE Canarias Chair, can be followed live via streaming, allowing those interested who cannot attend in person to be present virtually.
