On Saturday there will be a pilgrimage and on Sunday a concert with Ginés Cedrés, Juan Santana, Beatriz Pérez and Jonathan Gutiérrez
The Bejeque group will provide music for the big day of the San Rafael festivities, this Thursday, October 24, which is a holiday in the municipality. The group will perform their show 'Bejeque y más', accompanied by the singer Marieme and the Santa Lucía de Tira-jana dance troupe at 20 p.m. in the Plaza de San Rafael in Vecindario.
Before the concert, in the pedestrian zone of Avenida de Canarias, from 17.30:25 p.m. there will be the Children's Afternoon with artistic workshops and inflatable attractions. On Friday, October 19, there will be the San Rafael Latino with a salsa workshop at 19.30 p.m., a bachata workshop at 20:20.30 p.m. and a workshop and Latin dance circle at XNUMX p.m. From XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. there will be performances by the town's Latin dance schools.
Also on Friday, at the Fairgrounds, starting at 22 pm, the groups Son del Caney, Orquesta Golosina and Sesión latina with DJ Akiles will perform.
Pilgrimage
The San Rafael festivities programme continues on Saturday at 10am with a bike ride from the Plaza de San Rafael. At 4pm there will be the III Miguel Guedes Jiménez Memorial Petanque Tournament. At 19pm the San Rafael Offering Pilgrimage will begin from Cruz de Sardina to the Plaza de San Rafael. In the evening there will be a street party with Grupo Leyenda Joven, Orquesta StarMusic and Orquesta Furia Joven. The night closes with a show of music, lights and fireworks.
On Sunday at 9am there will be the Livestock Fair next to the Fairgrounds. At 17pm the Solajero Festival. And at 20.30pm the festivities will end with the concert 'A nuestro ritmo' (At our own pace) which will bring together Ginés Cedrés (Los Coquillos), Juan Santana (Sin Fundamento), Soul Sanet, St. Pedro, Beatriz Pérez (Última Llave) and Jonathan Gutiérrez (Eclipse Reggae), presented by Fran Baraja.
