Mogán: Servatur Hotels estimates free reservations at 7,3 million

Servatur, the Ivar Tollefsen chain, which reduced its free reserves by 7,3 million euros this October, has kicked off the winter tourist season in full swing this October with the operations of the Puerto Azul complex in Mogán after an investment of 33 million euros, although the Las Palmas press has said it was 57 million. The Servatur Puerto Azul Hotel, the largest in the chain and with nearly 270 employees, trusted Isaba for the complete renovation of its facilities and transformed the children's and family area into a larger space to the point that it has a slide 8 metres high. Puerto Azul has been joined by the Hartaguna complex, with 64 three-star rooms. Perhaps that is why there are different investment figures.

The product that has been left and largely executed by Construplan, where a Telde worker died in an unfortunate work accident, is a four-star family complex with 492 rooms and 1.403 accommodation places. One of the pools has a beach entrance. The renovation works began in June 2021 with an investment of 15 million euros and the idea was to finish in the summer of 2022. The construction of the new block of 105 apartments and 24 duplexes was estimated to be completed in November 2022. The chain's objective is to compete for the Meloneras business, in accordance with the strategy of Michael Lund Jensen, CEO of Servatur.

The shareholders' meeting of Norway's wealthiest hotel chain on July 26, 2024 agreed to redeem all of the company's existing treasury shares in its portfolio, i.e. from 279.308 to 335.700, a total of 56.392 shares. And to modify the bylaws, breaking down the share capital and the shares that comprise it. It was unanimously agreed by those attending to reduce the Company's share capital by an amount of 17.199,56 euros. Therefore, article six of the bylaws has been changed, setting the share capital at 85.188,94 euros, divided into 279.308 shares with a nominal value of 0,305 euros each, numbered consecutively from 1 to 279.308, both inclusive. Group sources consulted by Maspalomas24H about this operation said that this capital reduction "has not entailed the return of contributions, as Servatur itself is the owner of the redeemed shares."
