All Saints' Day with clear skies and moderate breeze in the south of Gran Canaria

Maspalomas24h Friday, November 01, 2024

According to the AEMET Canarias forecast, the weather is expected to remain mostly stable, with clear skies and pleasant temperatures.

Gran Canaria is preparing for a weekend with predominantly clear skies in the south and southeast of the island, according to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET). The weather will offer pleasant temperatures and favourable conditions to enjoy the coast, although moderate northeasterly winds and sea waves of up to two metres in certain areas are also expected.

Friday, November 1, 2024: A clear and fresh start

Friday will begin with mostly clear skies and temperatures ranging between 17°C and 25°C. The wind, which is predominantly from the northeast, will reach gusts of up to 30 km/h, which could create a refreshing environment on the coasts. In addition, the presence of haze is not expected, so visibility will be optimal. The waters around the island will show a northeast swell, with waves between 1 and 2 meters, ideal for those looking for moderate water activities.

Saturday, November 2: Cloudy intervals and mild temperatures

For Saturday, the AEMET forecasts cloudy intervals during the first hours of the day, which could clear as the morning progresses. Temperatures will remain pleasant, with a minimum of 16°C and a maximum of 24°C. The wind will continue to blow from the northeast, although with less intensity, reaching gusts of up to 25 km/h. The sea will also present a swell similar to that of the previous day, maintaining waves of between 1 and 2 meters on the southern coast.

Sunday, November 3: Possible cloudiness and light rain in high areas

Sunday will be a day marked by variable cloudiness, especially in high areas of the island, where light rain is not ruled out. Temperatures will range between 17°C and 24°C. The wind will remain at moderate levels, with gusts of up to 30 km/h from the northeast, while the sea will continue to present moderate waves of around 2 meters.

Maritime recommendations and conditions

For those planning to visit the beaches in the south-east and south of Gran Canaria, it is advisable to take into account the state of the wind and the height of the waves, which could affect nautical activities. This weekend offers optimal conditions to enjoy the coast safely, especially in areas sheltered from wind gusts.
