Los Molinillos and Playa del Burrero will have two new night services: departures at 23:30 and 00:30 from Los Molinillos, with returns from the beach at 00:10 and 01:10
Starting on November 4, users of Global line 85 between Los Molinillos and Playa del Burrero, in Ingenio, will be able to benefit from two new trips in each direction that will operate at night, as announced by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria through the Single Transport Authority. This extension responds to the growing demand for public transport in the area, especially at night.
With the addition of these new routes, the last service from Los Molinillos to Playa del Burrero will depart at 23:30 p.m. and return at 00:10 a.m. In addition, at 00:30 a.m., the bus will leave again for Playa del Burrero and return to Los Molinillos at 01:10 a.m. This measure seeks to improve the night connection between Carrizal and Ingenio, facilitating the return of those who work in the south of the island or in the capital and live in the area.
Currently, the last departures of line 85 are scheduled at 23:10 from Playa del Burrero to Los Molinillos and at 21:50 in the opposite direction. The extension will allow the high demand registered on this route to be met, especially during weekends, and to assess the interest of the population in these new services.
