Canarian football donates 17.000 euros to help those affected by DANA in the Valencian Community
La Inter-island Football Federation of Las Palmas (FIFLP), chaired by José Juan Arencibia, has donated 17.000 Euros to Valencian Community Football Federation to support employees and clubs affected by the recent DANA. This announcement, made in the Gran Canaria Stadium During the presentation of the cup competitions, he had the support of local clubs and authorities such as the Canary Islands Government, Cabildo of Gran Canaria and the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council.
The contribution aims to alleviate the material damage suffered by federation employees and facilitate the movement of clubs in areas with severely affected football fields. According to Arencibia, this gesture of solidarity seeks to “help Valencian football in its recovery, both clubs and employees who are facing this tragedy”, and inspire further support for rebuilding facilities.
