In addition, the Parranda Tendereteros de Juanse participates, together with the soloists Jesús Monzón, Laura Santana, Luzmila Valerón and José Alberto Hernández. The event is sponsored by the Department of Culture of the City Council of Ingenio, recognizing the contribution of 'Tenderete' to the legacy of the folklorist Nanino Díaz Cutillas.
Coros y Danzas de Ingenio, awarded this year with the Gold Medal of the Canary Islands and the Medal of the ULPGC, continues to be a benchmark in the recovery and dissemination of the island's musical tradition. This special edition of 'Tenderete' highlights not only its 75-year history, but also its essential role in keeping the musical memory of Gran Canaria alive.
