The island's leading fair for new trends kicks off this Friday in the heart of the capital of Gran Canaria, San Telmo Park, with 74 exhibiting brands and an extensive programme of fashion shows.
The XIII edition of 'Fashion and Friends', the fair that promotes local talent and entrepreneurship, opened its doors today in the San Telmo ParkThe event, which runs until Sunday, brings together 74 fashion, design, technology and art brands, including 27 new additions, with a full programme of parades, workshops and competitions.
The president of the Cabildo, Antonio Morales, toured the facilities accompanied by Councillor Minerva Alonso and invited all citizens to enjoy the event. “It is an opportunity to discover local talent and support its ability to generate employment and opportunities,” He highlighted. Among the most anticipated activities, the runway will host innovative collections such as “Urban K-Wave” by Gianluca Urraso or "Green" by Elisa Durán, which highlight sustainability and Canarian creativity.
In addition to the exhibits, the fair has a picnic area with food trucks and concerts, creative workshops organized by Dorada Especial and a competition for the best stand with sustainability criteria.
