Today, Saturday 16 November, between 10:00 and 14:00, the Red Cross Las Palmas will carry out a maritime rescue drill on the coastal strip between Pasito Blanco and El Pajar, in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
During the exercise, rescue vessels will be deployed using smoke and flares to simulate emergency situations, with the aim of improving the response capacity to maritime incidents and ensuring safety in the Maspalomas area.
The public is advised not to be alarmed by the presence of smoke or flares during the drill.
