The lighting was preceded by the Festival of Light, a lively and spectacular parade

light show starring skilled acrobats and charismatic elves, which toured the

Ansite Avenue from the Beñesmén school to the square. To the rhythm of the bands of

Island music and Cacuna Guiniguada and the Samba Isleña batucada, joined the parade

surroundings of the squares of Montaña de Los Vélez, Las Rosas, the El Oasis and El

Eden de Vargas, San Francisco Mountain, The Schooner, The Corralillos, The Espinales, Polygon

Residential of Arinaga, La Banda, Temisas and Guayadeque. In addition to the more than 300

Christmas lights help stimulate economic activity in the areas

open commercial areas of Agüimes, in addition to livening up the parties and events scheduled

over the next few weeks in the different neighborhoods. All light sources are from

LED technology, with maximum energy efficiency, which will minimize both consumption

electrical as light pollution.
