New taxi rates in Agüimes: everything you need to know

The Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC) has published this Thursday the new update of the rates for the taxi service in the municipality of Agüimes. After the modification, the daytime flag drop, between 06:00 and 22:00, will have a price of 3 euros. Between 22:00 and 06:00, on Sundays and holidays the amount will be 3,70. On the other hand, on December 24 and 31 and January 5 it will be 3,75 during the day and 4,30 during the night. The flag drop corresponds to one kilometer of travel or its equivalent in waiting time.

The new price per kilometre travelled is set at 0,80 euros and the hourly waiting time costs 17,20 euros. The radio taxi service remains at 0,50 euros, while the supplement for luggage is 0,20 euros. According to the resolution, this extra cost will be applied when the luggage exceeds 50 kilograms in taxis with up to four seats. In those with a larger capacity, it must exceed 60 kilos.

The rates must be displayed on the vehicle along with the relevant information. The new prices can be consulted on the municipal website. aguimes.es/mobility.
