The Town Council of La Aldea de San Nicolás would like to express its most sincere congratulations to Llailma and Josué, managers of Quesería La Renta, for the recognition obtained this Thursday in the prestigious island awards. Their dedication, effort and commitment to quality continue to position our municipality as a benchmark in the cheese sector of Gran Canaria.
The event, attended by Mayor Víctor Hernández and the Councillor for the Primary Sector, Pedro Suárez, was a demonstration of the value and talent that characterises the village's primary sector. Both municipal representatives highlighted the importance of continuing to support this key sector for the municipality's economic and social development.
“The success of Quesería La Renta is not only a personal achievement for Llailma and Josué, but a source of pride for all our people. It shows that with effort and dedication we can achieve great goals and keep our traditions alive,” says Mayor Víctor Hernández, who also highlights the need to continue supporting initiatives that promote the primary sector in La Aldea.
Pedro Suárez adds that “Llailma and Josué are an example that, with passion and work, it is possible to produce high-quality cheeses that compete at the highest level. From the City Council, we will continue to promote projects that value our primary sector, key to the sustainable development of our municipality.”
