The president of the Las Palmas hotel employers' association, José María Mañaricua, will clarify after Fitur whether or not he will continue to lead the FEHT of Las Palmas since his term expires in May 2025. Before that, around the month of March, the Las Palmas Hoteliers Association, integrated into the FEHT, and of which the business leader is president, must renew or not its board of directors, which is the one that generates the presidency of the FEHT.
The Association was established on May 5, 1978. The last modification of its Statutes was approved at the General Assembly on March 3, 2017. The salary of the general secretary is 4.470,48 per month, just under 60.000 euros per year. In 2021, the then Canarian socialist government gave the FEHT official aid for the 'Boosting economic activity through the development of cultural, sporting, and active tourism events, among others, that allow greater attraction and spending at the destination of our (literal) visitors' of 2,1 million euros. Through membership fees, the FEHT received 2022 euros in 318.000, the last financial year made public.
At Tourin Eurooeo, the company chaired by Valentina Aristondo Mejías and represented by the president of the FEHT of Las Palmas, the turnover went from 65,1 million euros in 2022 to 74,3 million euros in 2023, with a profit in 2023 with taxes of 22,1 million euros compared to 18,1 million euros in 2022. The company pays 5,9 million euros in social security contributions and 20,8 million euros in salaries. In 2023 it paid 860.000 euros in corporate tax, double that of 2022. The company has 16,1 million euros in the RIC.

Amador, Santiago de Armas and Carlos Gimeno. Some representatives from that 2021 no longer operate or do not belong to chains.
