The company Transportes Sánchez, from Santa Lucía de Tirajana, has been the first in the Canary Islands to acquire the Jekko JF545 mini crane. This model is one of the largest in the Jekko range of articulated crawler cranes. It offers a load capacity of 15.500 kilos, a working height of 30 metres and a reach of 28 metres.
This is a bi-energy model, perfect for both industrial and construction work in a sustainable way, thanks to the crane's dual motorization: diesel (55,4 kW Kubota engine) and three-phase electric 13 kW-50 Hz, 400 V to work with 0 emissions. It also includes a self-leveling operator basket for lifting people with EN280 certification. This strategic move by Transportes Sánchez Canarias not only benefits the company, but also represents a significant advance for the construction and transport sector in the Canary Islands, since the arrival of the Jekko JF545 crawler crane will facilitate the execution of more ambitious projects, contributing to economic growth and the development of infrastructure in the area. The set complies with EN280 certification.
The company explained on Tuesday that the "union of two different concepts in the field of lifting to open up new horizons and new application opportunities" and that "this is the perspective that gave rise to the concept of the new Jekko JF545 with the clear objective of uniting and transforming the mini-crane and articulated crane sector". Developed by the company from Treviso Italy, world leader in mini-cranes in collaboration with Fassi - it changes traditional lifting systems by putting on tracks what has always been naturally mounted on trucks: the articulated crane.
