There will be a Christmas Craft and Decoration Market, with a large 7-metre-high inflatable Christmas tree.
The international event 'Freedom New Year Festival Maspalomas' will celebrate the arrival of 2025 with a varied programme of parties, galas and activities, which will take place from 27 to 31 December, culminating in a fun and spectacular New Year's Eve Party, in the Yumbo square, in Playa del Inglés.

The programme will offer free events, galas, fun parties with drag queens, dancers, DJ music, a Christmas Market and performances by prominent artists, such as Soraya, Cristina Ramos (winner of Got Talent Spain and La Voz de México), Nebulosa (winners of Benidorm Fest 2024) and Mat Terry (winner of Factor X 2016 in the United Kingdom).

For the first time in Gran Canaria, residents and tourists will be able to celebrate the end of the year in style on a large open-air stage in the Yumbo, which will be dressed up to welcome the arrival of 2025, eating the 12 lucky grapes and dancing until dawn to unforgettable 80s pop music, to today's most danceable songs, with dancers and drag queens.
The programme of activities to welcome the new year in a festive and supportive atmosphere will take place from 27 to 31 December, with daytime parties in the pools of the hotels in Playa del Inglés and, every night, galas with DJs from Spain, Colombia, Brazil, Portugal, Colombia and Venezuela, who will take us on a musical journey from the past to the future, with the best hits, as well as performances by outstanding artists who will liven up the galas.
For five days, the public will be able to enjoy the best atmosphere to welcome the New Year, with the most danceable music, and the warmest climate in Europe in December, which reaches an average temperature of 25 degrees. The 'Freedom New Year Festival Maspalomas' will be the 'warmest' winter festival in Europe.
The New Year's Eve Gala in Plaza del Yumbo will be an unforgettable party that will start at 21:00 p.m., with the best pop music since the 80s, with drag queens and dancers.
Canarian artists Rubén Dizá and Jia Miles will present the event in two languages and, as is traditional, before midnight, they will invite the public to countdown and celebrate the arrival of 12, in a festive and free atmosphere.
The party will be free for all residents of the island and for tourists from different countries, who will spend the last night of the year enjoying the climate and hospitality of the southern part of Gran Canaria.
Global buses are already running from Madrid to the Maspalomas Lighthouse, announcing the upcoming event. Buses are the best way to get to the Yumbo Centre on Wednesday, December 31st, and return on the lines that will be running on January 1st. Schedules can be found at: www.guaguasglobal.com
The 'Freedom New Year Festival Maspalomas' will feature an exclusive VIP area located in front of the main stage. The VIP pass also includes welcome gifts, eight drinks, free access to the three morning pool parties , New Year's Eve catering, and the traditional twelve grapes to celebrate the end of the year.
