Fataga and Tunte close the Las Palmas mountain championship with 57 vehicles registered

The tests, organised by Escudería Maspalomas, include 25 drivers in the Speed ​​category, 15 teams in Rally-Formula and 17 in Regularity Sport. Among the favourites are Miguel Ángel Cabral, leader of the championship with his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X, and Iván Armas, aboard his Porsche 911, who occupies second position in the classification. Other names to watch are José Calderín (R-5 GT Turbo), Juany Jorge (SEAT León) and Alby Martell (Porsche 911 GT3).

 

The event will begin on Friday, November 29th, with administrative and technical checks in Fataga, from 17:00 PM to 9:00 PM. On Saturday, November 30th , the action kicks off with the first hill climb in Fataga , including the practice run at 21:30 AM , followed by the official races. In the afternoon, the action moves to the San Bartolomé de Tirajana hill climb (Tunte) , with the competition starting at 14:30 PM . This final event will have a coefficient of 1,2, awarding additional points towards the championship titles.

 

The trophy presentation will take place in Plaza de Tunte, next to the San Bartolomé de Tirajana Town Hall, at the end of the competition. This event marks the end of the 2024 season of the Las Palmas Mountain Championship, where the champions in Regularity Sport and Rally-Formula will also be defined. The security device includes Civil Protection, Local Police and Civil Guard, guaranteeing the safe development of this motor day.
