The Spar food chain has opened a sports store on Paseo Pablo Picasso in the tourist area of Tarajalillo and Bahía Feliz. It is the 30th store in the south of Gran Canaria. The new Spar store is located within the facilities of the Apollo Monte Feliz Playitas hotel complex, which has reopened to the public after a renovation that has transformed the establishment into accommodation specially designed for sports lovers. Thus, the complex's facilities include a gym with top-class equipment, WOD box, areas for practicing yoga and group training, tennis, paddle tennis, swimming pools and a cycling center, among other spaces.
The Spar Monte Feliz range is also specially adapted to sporty consumers, with more than 300 specialised references including a wide variety of protein bars, isotonic drinks and other food supplements. The store is complemented by an additional varied range offering fruit and vegetables, a vending machine for freshly squeezed orange juice, self-service charcuterie and a selection of wines, among other products.
The new Monte Feliz store thus becomes an innovative and differentiated option among the store models developed by the Cencosu group in Gran Canaria. The establishment has 140 square metres of commercial space and is accessible to both hotel guests and external customers thanks to its two entrances. To meet the demand in the area, the store will be open every day of the week, including holidays, with extended opening hours from 8:00 a.m. to 21:00 p.m.
