A delegation of health sector companies from the Ivory Coast is starting this week an agenda of visits to companies in the tourism sector such as Gloria Palace de Aránzazu Mañaricua with the aim of developing business cooperation programmes, as well as Grupo San Roque, headed by Herminia Rodríguez. This exchange has allowed the Ivorian representatives to learn about the best practices and technologies in the health sector in the Canary Islands, promoting possible collaborations and joint initiatives that benefit both regions.
The reverse mission, financed with Mineco funds, reinforces Proexca's objective of helping companies through specific sector plans in their internationalisation and external growth, in this case, for companies in the health sector that promote the referral of patients and technical assistance between the Canary Islands and both West African countries. Among the visiting companies are MADGI – Mutua de los Impuestos-, CNPS – Seguridad Social Nacional-, MUGEFCI – Mutual General de los Agentes del Estado de Côte d'Ivoire and Mutua PROSUMA.
During this visit, representatives will learn first-hand about the management model and the services offered by top-level healthcare institutions, such as the San Roque University Hospitals group, the Gloria Palace Hotel thalassotherapy centre, and the Fernando Pessoa University for its academic healthcare offering, among others.
