Yilenia Vega: “We want it to be an unforgettable day for all the families in the municipality, which is why it has a totally accessible schedule, a context appropriate for the age, with music and activities that will make them enjoy it to the fullest”
Maspalomas KidsMas will be held on Sunday 29th, starting at 10:00 am, on the sand of Annex II of Playa del Inglés.
Following the success of the first edition, the Department of Tourism and the area of Festivities and Events of San Bartolomé de Tirajana are once again organising the Children's New Year's Eve Chimes "KidsMas", an event that invites families to say goodbye to the year with the little ones in a magical, festive atmosphere, specially adapted for them. This year, the celebration will take place on Sunday 29 December, starting at 10:00 am, in Annex II of Playa del Inglés.
This initiative, which seeks to establish itself as an essential event in the municipality's Christmas calendar, promises an unforgettable day with activities designed for all ages. The Councillor for Tourism, Festivities and Events, Yilenia Vega, highlighted that "after last year's success, we are very excited to be able to celebrate these children's chimes for the second time. We have worked to offer an even more special experience, increasing the programme and ensuring that every detail is designed for the children, who will be the real stars." In addition, Vega adds, "it is an ideal event to promote our tourist destination, and to highlight the excellent temperature of Maspalomas Costa Canaria by celebrating the end of the year on the beach itself."
The event will feature a wide range of activities that will combine music, creativity and fun. The main attractions include a special animation show before the bells strike, an exciting special bell show with a DJ, the Magical Moments show, and the Kids Rock History concert, which will take you on a musical journey full of energy to enjoy with the family.
Children will also be able to take part in original workshops such as face painting, Scalextric, decorating your tote bag to personalise a reusable bag, sustainable juggling to promote ecological awareness, and a magic workshop to learn the secrets of the great illusionists. In addition, there will be an area with inflatables and traditional games to enjoy with the family.
Vega stressed that “we have designed this celebration at a time that is completely accessible to children, in a festive context appropriate to their age, with music and activities that will make them enjoy themselves to the fullest. We want it to be an unforgettable day for all the families in the municipality.”
