Agents of the National Police have arrested a 67-year-old man of Hungarian nationality in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana (Gran Canaria), who was the subject of a European Extradition Order issued by the Hungarian authorities for aggravated fraud.
The investigation began last May of this year, after receiving a communication from the Fugitive Group of the General Police Station. The police operation, after an arduous investigation, managed to locate, identify and arrest the wanted man on December 19, who, once the police proceedings were completed, was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority, who carried out the necessary procedures to transfer the detainee to the requesting authorities.
