The Department of Parks and Gardens of San Bartolomé de Tirajana completely restores the now empty recreational area and also provides it with shaded areas

The San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council is putting out to tender the renovation works on the Juan Grande children's park for a financial amount of 183.407,19 euros, through the State Contracting platform and by means of an open and simplified procedure, published until next January 13.

With this project, included in the Municipal Plan for the Renovation of Children's Parks, the Department of Parks and Gardens, headed by the eighth deputy mayor Araceli Armas Cruz, and coordinated by the councilor Eduardo Armas Herrera, seeks to recover as a children's play area a public space that currently does not have any play elements.

The municipal government expects the works to be completed in approximately three months from the date on which the contract for their award is formalised.

The work to be carried out will create shaded areas by planting trees and installing a pergola, and will provide the space with a set of play elements suitable for children aged 3 to 14.

The planned supply includes a two-seater swing, one of which is for people with reduced mobility (PRM), a trampoline, a two-seater dock also for PMR, a two-seater seesaw and a mini-slide for children between 1 and 6 years old.

In addition, the project for the renovation and improvement of the site includes the installation of an irrigation system and new paving, the placement of fencing and the provision of furniture for relaxation.
