The real estate business in the south of Gran Canaria has shown a positive development in 2024. Demand for homes in areas such as Arguineguín, Tauro and Maspalomas exceeds the available supply, reinforcing the trend of higher prices in these areas. In this context, in the 2023 financial year, Inmobiliaria Cárdenas' turnover decreased by 2%, reaching 2.368.200 euros. Despite this reduction in sales, the company recorded profits after taxes of 594.841 euros, demonstrating efficient and resilient management.
In terms of its employment structure, the workforce of Inmobiliaria Cárdenas remained stable with 20 people, of which 19 are permanent employees, representing 100% of the contracted staff. This figure reflects strong job stability within the company, with no temporary employees at the end of the year on December 31, 2023. Personnel costs amounted to €1,16 million, with sales per employee of €124.642. Sales per employee stood at €28.899, while gross cost per employee was €61.133. In terms of profitability, operating profit per employee reached €124.579, and profit for the year per employee was €31.307.
Despite the economic challenges, Inmobiliaria Cárdenas has demonstrated a solid ability to manage its resources and maintain the stability of its staff. The company remains an example of perseverance and efficiency in the Mogán real estate sector. The assets have reached 8,6 million euros, a working capital of 2,9 million euros, a net worth of 7 million euros and a debt of 1,48 million euros. The result after taxes in 2023 was 594.841 euros although sales fell by 2% to 2,37 million euros, although that figure in 2021 was 270.277 euros.
