The SPAR Gran Canaria group remains particularly aware of the economic challenges faced by many Canarian families at the start of the new year. For this reason, the chain is repeating one of its initiatives to fill its customers' shopping baskets, giving away 700 sets of SPAR brand products, worth a total of 21.000 euros, from today until 6 February.
Customers who make purchases of 20 euros or more will be eligible to win one of 700 random prizes valued at 30 euros, free of charge, immediately, and including products such as milk, lentils, pasta, sausages, water, and cleaning and personal hygiene products.
The SPAR Gran Canaria group continues to be committed to improving the quality of life and the economy of Canarian families. Thus, during the past year 2024 the chain carried out several campaigns that contributed to completing the shopping basket of its customers, giving away 3.700 batches of products worth more than 100.000 euros, 25.000 euros in discount vouchers and 88 gift cards for a total value of 45.800 euros.
During 2025, SPAR Gran Canaria will continue to maintain initiatives to encourage its customers to save, such as fortnightly brochures with a multitude of products at reduced prices, exclusive offers held every Wednesday in the Fruit and Vegetable sections of supermarkets and a special offer on the last weekend of each month. In addition, the chain will also maintain during 2025 the special offer it has been running since October 2023, offering a fresh product from the fruit and vegetable section every weekend.
Savings all year round
The chain also has a loyalty card called 'My SPAR Club', which offers numerous benefits, including access to special offers and discount coupons. In addition to these benefits, the 'My SPAR Club' loyalty card applies a fixed discount on all purchases made by accredited large families in any of the 198 SPAR establishments in Gran Canaria.
To benefit from this savings initiative, large families on the island only have to prove this requirement by completing the application form for the 'My SPAR Club' card and presenting, at the same time, the official documentation for large families issued by the Canary Islands Government at any of the SPAR stores on the island. After proving this, they will have access to direct discounts on all purchases they make. This program of exclusive benefits is added to the numerous social responsibility actions that SPAR Gran Canaria develops in favor of Canarian families.
