AEMET Canarias forecasts weather conditions marked by strong winds and possible episodes of haze in the south of Gran Canaria during the next week. Temperatures will remain pleasant, but the presence of suspended dust could affect visibility and air quality.
The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has reported that, from Monday, wind will be a predominant factor in the south of Gran Canaria, with gusts that could reach 40-50 km/h in coastal areas and in high areas. In addition, there is a possibility that the haze will intensify, especially from Tuesday, with moderate concentrations of dust in suspension coming from the African continent.

As for temperatures, maximum temperatures are expected to range between 22 and 26 degrees, while minimum temperatures will be around 16-18 degrees, offering a pleasant climate despite adverse conditions. AEMET warns that episodes of haze could impact visibility, especially in air transport, and recommends that the sensitive population take precautions against the possible reduction in air quality.
