A collision between two vehicles on Juan de la Cosa Street left four people injured to varying degrees. The incident, which occurred in the Castillo del Romeral, San Bartolomé de Tirajana, mobilized several emergency services.

The accident occurred at 13:34 p.m. on January 26, 2025, when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert about the collision of two cars that subsequently hit a street lamp on Juan de la Cosa Street, Castillo del Romeral, in San Bartolomé de Tirajana.

The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) sent a medical ambulance, a sanitized ambulance and two basic life support ambulances to the scene. The teams assisted six people, four of whom had to be taken to hospital due to their injuries:
- A 15-year-old minor with moderate multiple injuries was evacuated in a medicalized ambulance to Hospiten Roca.
- A man with moderate multiple bruises was taken to Hospiten Roca in a sanitized ambulance.
- A woman with moderate multiple injuries was taken to San Roque Maspalomas University Hospital in a basic life support ambulance.
- Another man, with minor multiple injuries, was evacuated in a basic life support ambulance to Hospiten Roca.

The Canary Islands Emergency Service, the San Bartolomé de Tirajana Fire and Rescue Service, the National Police and the Local Police intervened at the scene of the accident, ensuring medical care, safety and restoring normality to the road.
CECOES immediately activated all necessary resources to ensure an effective response to the severity of the accident, managing to coordinate the care and transfer of those affected.
