As of February 3, 2025, new regulations for visiting Roque Nublo come into force, establishing a system of mandatory reservations during peak times. This measure seeks to preserve the natural environment, reduce visitor overcrowding and improve the experience of those who access this protected area.
Visitors can reserve their time slot through the official website GranCanariaSenderos.com, ensuring access during the first weeks of February. Access control will be applied exclusively during peak times, allowing for a safer, more organized and environmentally friendly visit.
The measure seeks to prevent overcrowding and regulate the number of visitors simultaneously accessing the Roque Nublo trail, thus ensuring greater conservation of this protected natural area.
Elimination of parking in Degollada de Goleta and new transport options
In order to reduce vehicle congestion in the area, the Degollada de Goleta car park has been removed, turning it into an exclusive bus stop. The new car parks are located in Cruz de Los Llanos and the town centre of Tejeda.
To facilitate access, a circular route has been implemented. buses operated by Global, with stops at the following points:

Who will not need a reservation to access Roque Nublo
Residents of Tejeda and Artenara will be able to access without prior reservation.
Hikers arriving on foot from alternative routes will not be subject to the regulations.
Visitors outside peak hours may enter freely.
