Gran Canaria Fashion & Friends Collection (fashion and Friends), the event that is committed to new talent and the consolidation of fashion companies organized by the Ministry of Industry, celebrates its tenth edition and does so with important changes in terms of location and content .
It will be held on December 10, 11 and 12 in the heart of the capital of Gran Canaria and an emblematic place such as Plaza Stagno, next to the Pérez Galdós Theater. Furthermore, the Picnic area disappears as such and is transformed into gastronomic days, GastroFriends, thanks to the proposal promoted by the Ministry of Industry and the support and involvement of the commercial associations of Triana and Vegueta. The last big change for Fashion&Friends comes with the fashion catwalk, transformed into an urban parade that will travel through several streets of Triana, until reaching Plaza Stagno where they will meet the exhibitors and the public that is visiting the store at that moment. fair.
Regarding the campaign, given that it is the tenth anniversary, the aim has been to convey the growth, evolution and consolidation since the first edition held in 2012, and as all those involved are now almost like a family, which has been growing with the time, evolving and improving.
Moda y Amigos has seen the birth of brands and become references, which is why, under the motto '10 years of trends and successes', a group of faithful has been chosen such as Totó&Co, Como la trout al trucho, Creaciones Huerta, Arcadio Domínguez, Blason, Elena de Hados, Santi Carballo, Las Niñas Jewelry, Allende, Airam Barreto or Lady Bug's Cris, to star in a photo and video session that has served as the basis for developing all the creative and communication elements, which will be transferred to the public through the social networks of Gran Canaria Moda Cálida.
As a platform that serves as a talent launcher, Fashion&Friends will have the presence of 72 brands this year, of which 25 are participating for the first time. As for the Moda Cálida brands that will be there this year, they are Arcadio Domínguez, Nuria González, Como la trout al trick and Lady Bug's Cris. By sectors, we are talking about 41 textile and clothing companies: 22 in fashion accessories, 5 in art, 5 in decoration and 2 belonging to the lifestyle sector.
The exhibitor area will be located outdoors with a large assembly of pagodas to host the participating brands, and the opening hours will be from 12 to 20:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 10:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. hours on Sunday.

The Picnic area, so traditional in Fashion, disappears as such and is transformed into Gastrofriends, a gastronomic event where 26 restaurants will participate, thanks to the involvement of the Zona Triana Business Association and the Vegueta Leisure and Restaurant Association, in which they also collaborate. the Gran Canaria Me Gusta program.
The establishments participating in the event have each prepared a tapa, with products from Gran Canaria, which they will offer to their customers during the 3 days of the event. Everyone will have a badge on the door, with the image of Fashion&Friends and the text: Local GastroFriends. For their part, customers who order the cover will be able to participate in a contest that will be activated through Instagram, thanks to the support of one of the sponsors of Fashion&Friends, Volkswagen Canarias, a brand that has been supporting the event since its first edition and that This year he also wanted to join the celebration.
The contest will consist of taking a photo of the cover, uploading it to Instagram and tagging #GastroFriends, and following Gran Canaria Like and Volkswagen Canarias.
