According to the latest data on reservations at hotels connected to Dingus in the Canary Islands, a clear trend is observed in the preferences of travellers for the month of February 2025 in Maspalomas and Mogán, with an increase in the tendency to increase the length of stay.
The technology platform reported on Monday that 70,4% of booked stays were for between 3 and 7 nights, while 21,3% were for stays of 8 to 14 nights. As for meal plans, 41,5% of guests opted for the all-inclusive option, while 27% chose half-board.
In terms of hotel category, 4-star hotels are the most popular, accounting for 58% of bookings, followed at a great distance by 3-star hotels (14%) and 5-star hotels (11%). In addition, the predominant customer profile is made up of couples, who make up 64,4% of travellers, while families represent 8,5%. These figures reflect the preferences of tourists who choose the Canary Islands as their destination, highlighting the importance of 4-star hotels and the trend towards short and medium-term stays.
