H10 Hotels has launched its new brand, H10 Horizons Collection, in the south of Gran Canaria, which represents an evolution in its identity and in the segmentation of its hotel offering. This exclusive collection includes three five-star establishments in Spain, such as the H10 Playa Meloneras Horizons Collection in Gran Canaria. The move coincides with Turismo de Gran Canaria's commitment to growing in this segment.
H10 Horizons Collection is designed for guests seeking a unique and exclusive accommodation experience. These resorts are located in privileged locations facing the sea and are characterized by their high standards of facilities and exceptional service. In addition to the new image, the hotel will implement improvements in its quality standards, including more personalized customer service, the renovation of certain services and the incorporation of amenities and VIP attentions during the stay. The new brand will be visible in the hotels in the coming months, marking a new chapter in the H10 Hotels offer in the luxury accommodation sector.
At the end of 2024, Turismo de Gran Canaria launched the destination's luxury product to a select number of journalists invited by the Spanish Tourist Office (OET) in London for the presentation of Spain focused on this segment.
During the presentation, the director of the OTS in London, Manuel Butler, highlighted that the demand for luxury tourism is growing faster than any other segment. It is expected that in the next five years the appetite for Spain as a luxury destination will grow by 50% in the United Kingdom. For this reason, the OTS has decided to consider the luxury travel segment as one of the main pillars of promotion from 2024 onwards.
Turismo de Gran Canaria has focused its promotion in the United Kingdom on the Premium segment for several years, highlighting the highest quality accommodation offer in the south with the brand 'Gran Canaria Experience', the product that Turismo de Gran Canaria has been promoting, which will play a fundamental role in the long-term tourist development of the island.
