San Roque University Hospitals joins the Talento scholarships of the Acuorum Foundation

On February 14, San Roque University Hospitals (HUSR) and the Acuorum Foundation signed an agreement to award a Talent Scholarship, intended to support the training of students with outstanding records and limited financial resources.

 

The Acuorum Foundation was created in 2015 in the Canary Islands, born from the need and desire to promote and develop an efficient and sustainable water culture in society. For seven years it has developed the Talent Scholarship Program (2017-2025), detecting and supporting talent in students with brilliant records and limited financial resources, who have passed through the BAI and some are now studying at the University with the help of the Foundation.

 

 

For its part, the San Roque University Hospital reinforces its commitment to corporate social responsibility, supporting initiatives that promote educational and social development in the Canary Islands community. Thanks to this scholarship, worth five thousand euros, a student will have the opportunity to continue his or her training and improve his or her academic and professional future.

 

The event was attended by Dr. Mario Rodríguez Rodríguez, President of San Roque University Hospitals, on behalf of the Foundation. The event was attended by Mr. José Sintes, Vice President, Mrs. Elena Tejedor Jorge, patron of the Foundation, and Mrs. Soledad Iess, Manager of the Foundation, who highlighted the importance of this collaboration for educational development in the Canary Islands.
