Serious motorcycle accident on GC-60, at kilometer 40, municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana
Male of unknown age who, at the initial moment of care, presented with severe multiple trauma, transported by medical helicopter to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
At around 13,14:1 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-2-60 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert informing them that a head-on collision had occurred between a car and a motorcycle on the road. GC-40, at kilometer XNUMX, municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana and that the driver of the latter had fallen down a slope several meters high.
1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
Consortium firefighters rescued the injured man and took him to the place where the SUC medical ambulance was located.
The ambulance personnel assisted the victim until the arrival of the medical helicopter.
After being stabilized and immobilized, the injured man was evacuated by medical helicopter to the aforementioned hospital.
The Civil Guard carried out the corresponding report.
