The Maspalomas Gran Canaria Consortium, in collaboration with technicians from the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, is making progress in the design of a new cycling network with the aim of extending sustainable mobility in the Meloneras area.

This action is part of the Impulsa Maspalomas project, which seeks to promote a more sustainable, efficient and accessible transport system. Both the Maspalomas Gran Canaria Consortium and the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council are collaborating to define joint projects and actions, ensuring the effectiveness of investments and adapting the infrastructure to the needs of Maspalomas, Costa Canaria, in this case, by optimising the integration of the bicycle lane into the existing urban infrastructure.
It is also worth noting that the proposals presented addressed key aspects such as vehicle loading in the area, the distribution of parking spaces, the various improvements planned in the Meloneras area, as well as the accessibility of the surroundings that improve the tourist destination.
